Wordless Wednesday

tattoo

Tattoo in progress on Jeremy.  We started this last night, it is the first time I have tattooed in over a year.  The pain in my arms (fibromyalgia) has really hindered me in tattooing.  This is a cover up and we will be going back over the shading and line work after this heals.  There is a background that we are going to work on to tie it in to his upper sleeve.  Not too shabby considering the pain I have and how long it has been since I tattooed.  Artwork is by Chopper and was created by him especially for HIT & RUN (J’s Band).  The guy is an amazing artist!

you are a tattoo artist? didn’t know that!
I always found it FASCINATING how people could not only draw what they can but to put in on SKIN.

I have one very tiny sad little tattoo and can’t wait to spice it up or get a second one!

    some day!

    I am seriously impressed!

Interesting. I am not big into tattoos myself, but I think they look cool. If I could look like Kat Von D with tattoos, I might get them. LOL! Since that’ll never happen, I will remain tattoo-less. Oh! Wait! I might get something small on the top of my foot. Not sure, though. I’ve been playing around with that idea since 2001. haha

It looks great! Is it on his lower arm- covering the sword with wings?
I’m amazed by your talent girl. When are you gettin’ your own show on TLC? Can I run the front desk or something- and be the annoying girl no one can stand?

Yes, this is what I did for a full time job in the past. Now I only tattoo when I want. I have too many kids to work in a shop. Tattooist hours just do not blend well with being a mommy 🙂

That’s cool. I could not sit there for all that shading. I could barely sit through the one I got.

We still have to go back into that. It is a coverup, so once it heals I have to go back and darken the shading up to make sure the original tattoo is blended well into the new one.

YEARS ago, I got my first tattoo, a butterfly on my hip. I was 18, sooooo, 1972! That is when women were first starting to get tattoos. My second, I was 24, a rose on my upper back, right side. My 3rs, a caligraphy Cat on the back of my neck 🙂 This one was just a few months ago!
