Allstate’s “Good Hands for the Good Life” #GoodLife

05.31.2013 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

This post brought to you by Allstate. All opinions are 100% mine.

You can not live your life in fear of the unknown.  Things are going to happen no matter how well you plan and how careful you are.  That is just life.  I love the Allstate brand commercials that show how there are risks everywhere, but that you still must live your life to the fullest, no matter what. Allstate Good Life encourages you to live the good life, with no fear.  In all honesty, more good happens than bad…you just have to pay attention!

You will not have a happy life if you live in it fear!  The constant "what-if" is just not healthy!  Life is too short and you know the saying, you only live once!  Why not live your life in an exciting way and be happy, instead of simply sitting on the sidelines "being safe".

There are things that will stand in your way of the good life, but is up to you to take care of it.  Doubt and fear are your number one enemies.  Be positive, be happy, be brave!  Be sure to celebrate moments of simplicity and contentment in life! Cheer and recognize triumph over adversity, fear or doubt.  Even little things, Say GO ME!  I'm awesome!

When was the last time you took a road trip with no destination in mind?  Just getting lost and enjoying the world around you?  Just you and the family or a friend or two.

Adventure is important in life.  I have been in Texas for over 10 years now.  When I came here I was afraid.  I had no friends, no place to live and I was in a new relationship.  I made the jump with blind faith and it was the best thing I ever did.  Everything worked against me.  Many disasters including losing everything I owned in a house fire.  But, that house fire was a great lesson on what is really important in life.  If I had not made that leap, stuck it out through the disasters or made any effort…well, then I would not be where I am now.  Where I am now is good!

Sure, I still have a lot of struggles.  I have really bad luck and my health isn't that great.  But I am sure to live my life the best that I can!
