SpellQuizzer Will Rock Your Socks!

What I want to know is…where has this program been all of my life and how come I did not know about it sooner?

spellSpellQuizzer is an awesome program that is fun and easy to use!  I tested it out with my oldest daughter and she absolutely loves it!  She can even record the lists herself if she wants.  Record lists? YES….read on and I will tell you alllll about it.

SpellQuizzer is a spelling program for helping children learn their spelling words. SpellQuizzer can compliment pretty much any spelling curriculum since you create your own custom spelling lists.  This can be used for public as well as homeschool kids.  You can make a list from a book your child is reading, a list from a lesson or a curriculum list.spellquizzer

The software has a built-in spellchecker that recognizes both US and UK English spellings.  Having the built-in spellchecker makes it easier for children to make their own spelling lists which can make it even more fun to use.

Adults preparing spelling lists can use funny sentences to go along with the word to make it even more fun and engaging.  The program is extremely easy to learn to use.  As soon as I installed it I tried one of the sample lists, then immediately made my own list.  You can have your own lists made in no time at all!You can download pre-made spelling lists for SpellQuizzer from their web site.  You can even import and export lists! This means you can share with others that you know using the program!

You will need a microphone to use with the program.  You type in the spelling word, mark if it should be capitalized, then record the word.  When the student starts the spelling list the program will play the word for them and they type it in!  Simple!  Genius!quizscreenvista

I have been playing with this program for a few days now and I don’t know how I lived without it! I’m serious when I say…this is one of the best learning tools I have come across!
What makes this even more awesome?guarantee

    Wow! My son is dyslexic, so anything that could make Spelling more enjoyable is two thumbs up by me! I like the idea of him doing his own recordings, that would make it more enjoyable, and give him more ownership in mastering his words!

    This program would really help my daughter. Here is some o f the info I liked
    Just set up the child’s list on Monday, and have him spend no more than five to ten minutes a day letting SpellQuizzer quiz him. By the end of the week he will be ready for his Friday spelling test at school. SpellQuizzer is also ideal for spelling bee preparation

    I like that my son can use this to practice his spelling words even when I’m not home (I work strange hours and he’s often with the babysitter or grandparents)!

    I like that my son could use it as much as he wants and wouldn’t have to wait for me. With an 18 month old, sometimes he gets impatient waiting for me to deal with her.

    The SpellQuizzer sounds great. I’m sure my 2 grandkids and I would have a blast while learning their spelling words. I really like that you can make spelling practice even more fun for the student by recording amusing sentences in the spelling software, or using a funny voice when you record spelling lists.” They know their Grandma is silly anyways and we always have lots of fun. Thanks for a great giveaway :-}
