Don’t Know How to Spend Quality Time With Your Friends? Check Out These 10 Awesome Group Activity Ideas

10.26.2020 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

It is great to spend some quality time with friends and here are some awesome suggestions for gathering together and enjoying some shared fun and memories.

Paintball is perfect for friendly competitive fun

Search out the best paintball markers and work on arranging a group activity that is great fun for everyone regardless of how good you are with a gun.

You can organize your friends into groups and set some game challenges that will have everyone talking long after the paintball challenge has been completed.

Get on your bike

Cycling has enjoyed a huge upsurge in popularity and it is an activity that is just made for a group of friends.

It doesn’t have to be a marathon trip across challenging terrain, as a leisurely ride through some local beauty spots can be just as much fun when you are sharing your cycle ride with friends.

Up for a new challenge?

Another great activity to consider is rock climbing.

Even if you are a complete beginner, this is a shared activity that will inspire you and your friends to rise to the challenge. Don’t worry, rock climbing can be safe as well as fun when you get professional guidance.

An excellent way to take in awesome scenery

Another activity to consider even when you are an absolute novice is horse riding.

A horseback ride with friends offers you the chance to take in some amazing scenery and challenge your skills at the same time.

quality time

Something for the thrill-seekers

If you have friends who like to get the adrenaline pumping a good suggestion would be to book a whitewater rafting trip.

You will often create some exciting memories and images to share on social media and whitewater rafting can often get you hooked once you try it.

quality time

Shared cultural experience

If you are looking for some more sedate group activities there are plenty of ideas to consider such as a food and drink event or an art exhibition.

Swap notes and opinions with each other as you enjoy a shared cultural experience.

Go for a scenic hike

Back to something more strenuous and see if your friends are up for the challenge of going for a scenic hike in the hills or mountains near you.

There are some incredible national parks across the country and it makes sense to explore one of these with friends if one is on your doorstep.

Explore the city

It can be surprising how little you know about your local surroundings and that’s why a sightseeing tour with friends can be such a good idea.

See the stars

Gather your friends together for a shared nighttime experience, indulging in some inspirational stargazing, and testing your knowledge of the night skies at the same time.

Miniature golf is always good for a laugh

Mini-golf ticks a lot of boxes as a fun and easy group activity. Get competitive in a friendly way with your friends and see who can post the best score.

Any of these activities should ensure that you get to spend some quality time with your friends.
