Looking for More Holiday Cash?

12.15.2012 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

I have been doing everything I can to bring in some extra cash for Christmas.  Searching the internet I have come across some more ideas, but one that works well is mobile phone trade in.

I used to give our old phones to the kids to play with.  When I learned that I could get cash by trading them in, I started trying to find those phones among the toys, in that pit they call a bedroom.

We have been cleaning and de-cluttering and I did come across 3 cell phones!  Yay me!  Now I just have to see if these are on the site for trading in.

My Evo is also getting a bit outdated.  So if they don’t offer me a trade in with my upgrade, well… I can try to get cash for the phone by the online service.

What do you normally do with your old phones?  Do you trade them in?  Sell them online?  Craigslist?  Give them away?  Or are you like me and you have given them to your kids to play with?

Do you have any other ideas for bringing in extra cash for the holidays?  I would love to read your ideas!  Please leave them in the comments below.
