I’m Dreaming of our Home…

I seriously can not wait to move.  I have gotten to the point where I despise this house.  I think I would even be fine with a smaller home, as long as it was ours.  Renting is the pits.  Seriously.  Renting is a smelly sweaty armpit that I am stuck in right now.

I could totally go for a farm house, or some fixer upper.  We have the skills to make it awesome and if it needed work it would make it a more affordable purchase for us.  I want it so badly that it’s what I think about constantly.  I dream about it too.

If we found a fixer upper that was within our price range, the first thing we would do is rip our any carpeting and tile and replace it with hardwood flooring.  Wood floors make a place seem so much more homey to me.  I like a lodge look, cabin style house.  I’m not about glitz at all.  I want a home.  A comfortable home.

Just changing out the flooring in a house can completely change the look.  That and a paint job can take the home from blah to awesome quickly.

We will make this happen, it’s just going to take some time…
