One of my oldest friends, Micha, is in a rough place right now. See, she went in for a very routine surgery. She was sent home to recover afterward, but her pain kept getting worse and she started having issues with breathing.
So she returned to the hospital where she was reopened and they found the culprit. Her bowels had been perforated during surgery. This caused a severe infection, basically poisoning her body and Micha is now in a sedated coma. They had to remove a portion of her bowels as well as place her on dialysis because her kidneys were damaged.
Micha is fighting for her life.
When she fights through this and comes out of it, she will need aftercare, most likely in the form of a nursing/rehab facility.
I am all too familiar with this as it wasn’t all that long ago that my dad was in the ICU, which is honestly, just the beginning of the fight.
Micha is a mother on disability. She is going to need help and we are fundraising to help her. If you can donate anything, it will be greatly appreciated. Even $5 will help.
