Finding The Best Prices On Car Insurance

09.01.2009 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

Once again it is time for me to seek out the best deal on our car insurance.  I try to remember to check into this a few times a year.  Things are always changing with rates going up and down.  I don’t want to miss out on a good deal on car insurance.  Money is too tight for most people these days to just be throwing it away.

I want to know exactly what I need to have to be within the limits of the law, but I don’t want to pay more than that.  I mean, gosh…my vehicle isn’t worth all that much, so why should I pay 10 times its worth every year on insurance?

Luckily we both have good driving records, so that helps a bit on the cost.  So let me know, who do y’all use???  We are currently using this little yellow place that has striped wall paper that makes my eyes go all wonky when I go in.  Dang I wish they would change that crap.  Apparently they think it is just lovely considering it’s a fairly new place they just remodeled and all.  It is certainly not lovely and tends to make me want to vomit.  Currently though, it is the best deal for us.

I use Allstate and have for the past 9 years. I using a different local insurance company but when I moved from one state to another I went ahead and changed to Allstate. I was in a accident (not my fault) and they were great to deal with from day one so I’ve never thought about changing. Ive been told they are a little more expensive than others out there but Ive been happy.

We’re currently using State Farm and I highly suspect that we are overpaying. I need to get with it and seek out some quotes but it seems like such a pain that I’ve been avoiding it!

“Beyond Scared Straight”- Keeping Teens out of Prison the Hard Way

There is a new series on A&E called “Beyond Scared Straight”.  I was sent a screener copy of the new series to check out.  I tell you what.  If you have a trouble making teen, I would totally sign them up to go on this show.  Heck, I was scared!
