Fijit Friends Playdate Premiere Dance Party!

08.12.2011 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

What’s going to be the biggest, hottest toy request this Christmas?  I’m thinking it’s going to be Fijit Friends!  These are the cutest little critters I have seen in awhile!  Read on to see a video of Willa in action!

The Fijit Friends™ were created when a gooey science experiment was brought to life by the power of music!

The Fijit Friends™ love to laugh ’til their sides hurt, dance ’til they’re dizzy, and just be themselves with their one true bestie!

Me and a house full of little girls really isn’t out of the ordinary, but we added a few more kiddos and called it a party!  First thing on the agenda was accessorizing for our dance party.  We had bracelets, necklaces, sunglasses, feather boas, Fijit Friends headbands and we even made our own personalized party jewelry!

All the girls immediately fell in love with our new Fijit Friends.  There were lots of ooooooohs and ahhhhhhhs over the cute factor.  They also loved to touch them and poke them in their belly’s.

Sage: This little explorer is totally ready for anything! She’s always the first one to say, “Let’s go!” when an adventure presents itself! And if you’re planning a hike or a scavenger hunt, she’s the perfect partner.

  • Hobbies: Collecting Shells
  • Subject: Science
  • Movies: Adventure
  • Music: Country Pop
  • Food: Trail Mix

Willa: This trendista likes to spice things up. She is devoted to fashion and up on all the latest trends, including the hippest slang and the coolest phrases. Plus she’s a natural-born leader!

  • Hobbies: Designing Clothes
  • Subject: Art
  • Movies: Comedies
  • Music: Anything she can bust a move to!
  • Food: Anything spicy!

I let our friends get to know the Fijit’s for awhile before filming the video. One thing I noticed and had to explain to the girls was for only one girl to speak at a time. The poor little Fijit’s were getting overwhelmed.  Once we worked that out things went much more smoothly.  You also have to be sure that the children talk in a clear voice and tell them the phrases that the Fijit Friends understand. With some brief explanation things will be fine.

Overall the Fijit Friends were a huge hit with our group that ranged from age 5 to 8! They dance, they talk and they even tell jokes!

Check out our video to see how much fun the girls were having.  Please ignore some of my slurring, ugh so embarassing but it’s part of the illness.
