Fall Fashion at T.J Maxx, I Went Shopping!

10.15.2010 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

I rarely ever buy myself clothing.  I just hate to spend the money.  In order to get well made fashionable clothes you usually end up shelling out a lot of money.  A lot of money that I do not have, so I don’t do it.

However, if you shop places like T.J. Maxx and Marshalls you can get in style clothing at a great price.  A price even I am willing to pay.

So how does T.J. Maxx and Marshalls do it?

T.J.Maxx and Marshalls are able to bring consumers the season’s designer looks for less. Buyers for the stores travel all around the world 40 weeks a year to meet with 12,000 different vendors, allowing them to snag the hottest in-season trends as they happen and negotiate prices up to 60% less than department stores. 10,000 new items arrive in every store each week, creating a “new store” feel every time shoppers visit.

So, little Miss. Emma and I went on a shopping trip to T.J Maxx. She said she wanted to be the person to tell me what looked good and what didn’t. My lil fashion diva! We spent awhile browsing the huge selection of Fall clothing and got hung up for awhile in the shoe department. The prices were fantastic! I am a huge Converse fan and we found some amazing prices on them! Emma was wanting to get me some break yer neck shoes, but I wasn’t down for that at all!  Maybe she is tooooo much of a fashion Diva?

We loaded up our cart with a ton of clothes and hit the dressing room.  Glad I had Emma with me because she kept it real.  Nothing better than an honest kid in the dressing room!

So after trying on a bajillion clothing items we settled on three for me!

  • I bought that pair of Jeans (hanging up in the photo above) by Paris Blues.  Regular $30, $14.99 at T.J. Maxx!
  • A Jean Jacket (something I have wanted for sometime)by Nine West.  Regular $50, I got it for $29.99
  • A pair of New Balance walking shoes that were on Clearance for around $24.  It was really hard to not get Converse, but I really needed the walking shoes!
  • I also got the girls shirts that said I heart Vampires.  They were only $3 and I couldn’t pass them up!

All of my items totaled in around $75.00!  Isn’t that awesome!  All name brand and all in style right now.  I was so happy with my new clothes!  I can’t wait to go back again!  I love the variety available and the prices are unbeatable.  I always spend a lot of time in the purse section, but this time I told myself NO and actually shopped for clothing for me that I so badly needed!

Thanks to my lil fashion guru Emma for the style advice…

I was provided with a $50 gift card to fund my shopping trip to T.J. Maxx by T.J. Maxx.  All opinions posted are my own.
