Best Valentines Day Flowers

I can not believe we are already at the end of another month.  It’s almost February!  Which means Valentines Day is right around the corner. I think I want to do something different this year for the girls and I have been looking at different ideas for the best Valentines Day flowers.  I am not sure that I could afford to have someone deliver valentines day flowers to the girls, but  I’m still checking into it.  I think it would be fun to surprise my oldest at work…although she would probably kill me.

I know roses are traditional, but I sure do love others more.  I love Carnations and Tiger Lillies the most.

Traditional Valentines Day Gifts

I think one of the best Valentine gifts for her would be candy and flowers.  We usually get each of the girls a box of chocolates, Jeremy picks one out for each of us, but honestly, I would like to skip the chocolate this year.  I would love to have  flowers instead.  It’s rare that I purchase flowers, so it would be a nice thing for a special occasion.  I think the girls would be thrilled with a flower and a stuffed animal.  They just can’t get enough stuffed critters!!  I mean, they have a whole doll crib full in their room.  They do play with them often though, they have great imaginations.

Your Favorite Valentines Day Gift

What has your favorite Valentines Day gift been?  Was it something traditional?  Flowers, Candy, Jewelry or maybe a teddy bear?  Or maybe it was a special night out?  What is your favorite flower?  I would love to hear all about it.  Tell me in the comments.  What about the kids?  Do you get them something for Valentines Day?  What do you get your husbands?
