An Interview with Myself (Blog Hop)

08.15.2012 by Girl on Fire // 16 Comments

Trisha from MomDot.com is running some fun Blog Hops.  Today’s hop is an interview with yourself.  She has provided the questions below:

What advice would you give your 16 year old self?

This is a funny one to me.  I would tell myself that the world was most definitely NOT going to end before I had the chance to have any sort of life.  I would tell myself that things will get tough from time to time and to just hang in there.

If you had a plane ticket in your hand right now to go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

That would be Ireland.  I have always wanted to go and I still plan to make that happen one day!

What did you want to be when you grew up and did you follow your dreams?

At the age of about 3 or 4 I decided I wanted to be a tattoo artist.  Yes I did become a tattoo artist!

How many pets do you own?

We have 4!  We have 2 turtles named Toby and Travis.  We also have 2 puppies that we recently adopted from the animal shelter.  We just recently had to surrender one of our dogs due to mental illness and had to put another to rest due to cancer.

What was your first car?

Ummm….I think it was a Cavalier.  That was so long ago and I went through so many cars!

I think it’s so cool that you knew you wanted to be a tattoo artist at such a young age! I’ve never thought of having turtles as a pet, but my son would love that. Your advice at 16 is spot-on.

I don’t know if you know this, but Daisy is a Carolina Dog aka American Dingo. I have one as well – Grace. Grace is my 2nd CD/AD – they are AMAZING dogs! Oh – and we have a turtle, too. His name is Frankenstein. Turtles kick booty. 🙂

Daisy is a Red Heeler AKA Australian Cattle Dog (Sometimes called a Queensland) Chopper and Daisy are brother and sister from the same litter. She looks like a Dingo because ACD’s are bred from Dingo’s. Our old man Bullet who died in July is also an ACD, but he is referred to as a Blue Heeler. Blue Heeler and Red Heeler is reference to the coloring, but all 3 dogs are Australian Cattle Dogs. 🙂 Her coat is not solid like the dog you are referring too. I’ll have to post another photo so you can see her red coming through.
