Picking Out a New Stroller…

08.18.2010 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

I had gotten rid of our Umbrella Strollers since the girls really didn’t have a need for one anymore, or so I thought.  I’m starting to regret it now.  While they are fine with short walks, Emma could still use a stroller at times.  Especially since I would like to start walking on a regular basis.  I want to do more than just walk up and down our street in fear that she will get too tired to walk home if we ventured any further.

The selection out there right now is amazing.  I’m starting with this list of the 10 Best Umbrella Strollers and reading the descriptions, reviews and ratings.  This makes it so much easier to choose when I can read the reviews of real people like me.  Anytime I shop I look for reviews of the products before hand.

After reading the UPPAbaby G-Lite Baby Stroller Review, I’m leaning towards that.  It only weighs 9lbs and is one of the lightest umbrella strollers on the market.  Most of the light weight ones don’t have the features I want.  I need a sun shade for sure!  Emma is one of those kids that is so pale her skin looks blue.  She needs protection from the sun when we are walking.  It also has a basket underneath which is a necessity!  I have to have that to carry our bottles of water and snacks for the girls.  Another awesome thing about this one is the mesh seat.  This allows for more breath-ability.  It gets very hot here in Texas.

What is your favorite stroller for a toddler?
