Our Magical Night

03.20.2009 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

Wednesday night we attended Disney On Ice here in Dallas.  It was opening night and it was fantastic!  I highly recommend this for anyone’s family.  My 3 girls were amazed and speechless….from the almost 11 yr old right down to the 2 yr old.  No one even had to go to the potty!  That right there tells you how awesome it was!

We got to start the evening out with a meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie.  I took my oldest and my 2 friends boys in to that.  It’s funny, the boys all acted like they were too tough to meet Minnie and Mickey, but when it came down to it you know they were all giddy!

After the Meet and Greet I went to gather up my other children and swap the boys back to the moms.  I was a bit nervous because it would be me and the 3 wee ones all alone!  However, once I seen my seats….holy cow!  They were right at the ice!  The girl’s couldn’t have been on better behavior than what they were.  It was amazing!
Donald Duck and Mickey
Emma couldn’t believe that right there in front of her was Donald Duck and Mickey! Eyes lighting up with every new character that came out.  Lauren was down right speechless!  That is a feat in itself!  I think we may plan to do this every year.  I think most people that I talked to said that Lilo & Stitch was the favorite of the night.  The kids were cracking up and to be honest, so were the adults.  Emma was up and dancing like a mad woman!
