My Newest Obsession

So as a single mom of a toddler, I don’t get out much! So when he is finally asleep and I have some alone time it’s nice to have something fun to get my brain to turn off mom mode!

My nightly routine lately has been giving my son a bath and getting him to bed, then it’s my time! I love sitting down with a hot cup of coffee and playing some online games! I mean… I could totally spend the evening cleaning the house or doing something a little more productive, but I feel like my sanity is worth the time LOL!

As a single mom it is hard to find time for self-care, especially if it requires a sitter! I don’t know about y’all but I can’t afford to get a babysitter everytime I need a break from my crazy toddler! The cool thing is; these games are free! Free is definitely enticing to me HAHA!

I have never really been into video games unless you count when I used to play Tony Hawk Underground as a pre-teen. But let me tell you these online games are addicting and really help me relax. I used to love reading and I think I still do, but I can’t seem to focus enough to truly appreciate them right now. Games stimulate my brain a bit more though it seems.

I usually dislike things like crossword puzzles and word searches; but believe me when I tell you that this word search game is addicting! I may or may not have stayed up till one in the morning playing this word search game and watching shameless. LOL oops! I really love writing and this game has helped me learn a few new words to add to my constantly expanding witty vocabulary!

The other one I really enjoyed is this Hidden Kitchen object search game! You just search for the hidden objects and click on them once you find them! This one is super fun and you have to be careful because you can easily spend a few hours playing without even realizing it!

There are also solitare games and various others such as Sodoku and matching games! I’m not very good at card games, but these games are slowly teaching me without the embarrassment of messing up in front of other people!

So if you are like me and need a fun way to unwind at the end of the day that doesn’t cost any money, then I highly suggest that you checkout this gaming website! I will warn you to be careful though, because ones you start playing you won’t want to do anything else LOL! But you can do what I do and use it as a reward for accomplishing boring tasks like housework or schoolwork!
