01.31.2014 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

This post brought to you by K12, the leader in online education. All opinions are 100% mine.

Most of you know that we homeschool the kids.  We have three girls that are ages 15, 9 and a 7 year old.  We have a lot of birthdays coming up i the next few months!  The two youngest have never been to public school.

There has been a lot of discussion on my Facebook feed lately about homeschool and questions about preschool at before public schooling begins.  Just recently I learned about EmbarK¹² family of preschool programs including Embark¹² Comprehensive and Embark¹² Online.

You can check out the EmbarK12 Comprehensive- Online and hands-on preschool program for your early learner.  I was impressed with what I saw on their website.  EmbarK12 Online – Over 830 interactive activities to engage your preschooler.  830 interactive activities?  I am sure that is enough to keep boredom away and keep your child engaged.   With a fun approach to early learning you can help prepare your child for Kindergarten.

If you are looking for a preschool or early learning program I would definitely encourage you to check out the sample activities at Kindergarten readiness programs by K12. Try a sample activity today.

The program is set up to be self guided, with independent learning for children ages 3-6.  I love that!  This will teach your kids that they can do things for themselves.  They can seek the knowledge they need.

With EmbarK¹² Online, your child will be prepared for Kindergarten with all of the basic skills.  These skills include mathematical reasoning, early literacy, scientific observation, investigative skills, and much more.

Some of the features are interactive multimedia and games.  If something is fun, a child is more likely to put more into it.  There are 12 units of activities and it also uses music, songs and videos.

With EmbarK¹² TM Comprehensive your child will have over 1,200 interactive, age-appropriate online and hands-on activities.  These activites cover all of the core subjects such as Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Music, and Art.

All of the activities are designed to fully prepare a child for Kindergarten.  It will cover many skills including mathematical reasoning, basic literacy, scientific observation, investigative skills, and more.

With EmbarK¹² TM Comprehensive there are over 1,200 age-appropriate activities, engaging children using a wide variety of interactive multimedia and hands-on materials.  This is over 288 hours of activities!

It includes 18 thematic units.  The units cover 6 subjects which are Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Music, and Art.  It also has over 450 online activities and over 750 hands-on activities.  The hands-on-activites use math manipulatives, children's storybooks, art supplies, and other learning aids.

There are 18 digital guides that detail the objectives and activities of each unit with easy instructions for making the most of EmbarK¹² Comprehensive.

I was happy to learn that it is the winner of five distinguished awards and used in national childcare centers.

It is very affordable too!  Only $59 for a 12-month subscription!  But check this out, I have an exclusive IZEA Discount: 50% discount on EmbarK¹² Online with the promo code EmbarkSpecial?.  This will bring the price down to only $29.50!  This code is only good for 7 days!  You can click here to purchase!
