Amazing Books App!

12.10.2010 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

We use my iPod for a lot of educational stuff for the girls.  I can not wait to get an iPad so they can have a bigger view of what is going on.  I’m always looking for another great children’s iPod app.

I just found out about Amazing Books which is an app for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad.  It’s way different from any other children’s iPad app I have ever seen! This is a children’s pop-up book app!  The titles currently released are “The Three Little Pigs,” Jack and the Beanstalk, and “My First Trip to Washington, D.C.”. What makes this even more amazing is that all three releases have a 3D option on the iPad.  3D!  How cool is that?

I’ve never seen or have heard of a children’s iPhone app that was 3D!  The things they come up with these days amaze me!  Wouldn’t this be great for long trips in the car or plane rides while traveling this Christmas?  I love that the app is educational. It has an option to hear a voice telling the story, or the children can read along. The kids can also control all of the action themselves.

It works in French, Spanish, or English all depending your settings are on your iPod, iPad, or iPod.  You can find them on facebook here: www.facebook.com/theamazingbooks.  The app is available for same on iTunes.  Let me know what you think!
