Art Therapy Subscriptions Make Perfect Last Minute Gifts!

12.20.2015 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Adult coloring books seem to be all the rage right now.  I never quit coloring, so it’s exciting for me to see this new trend!  What excites me, even more, is the idea of an Art Therapy subscription!  What a great last minute gift idea!

Half a century ago, Carl Jung prescribed coloring to patients.  Coloring helps people relax, therefore reducing stress and anxiety.  It works kind of like meditation, which is a powerful form of concentration.  It sparks your creativity and individuality!

The cool thing about an Art Therapy subscription is you have new pages to color coming right to your house!  My first issue came with colored pencils.  Each magazine offers creative coloring tips as well as relaxation tips!  Each issue also comes with coloring supplies!  I’m excited to get signed up and see what comes next.

This is something I can share with my daughters as well, or keep just for me!

This is definitely a gift that I would love!  I received the coloring book and pencils shown above to facilitate this review.  No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
