Every fashionable mama knows that no matter what sleek-looking outfit you leave the house in, if your hair looks fried, so do you. Maybe you’re the mom who has every hair in place and you simply need a couple quick tips so that you invest in the best hair staightener for you. But, if you are like many moms, odds are you are looking pretty and put-together on the outside but scrambling for every moment you can to take care of yourself behind closed doors.
Ladies, if you use straighteners at all regularly, you have got to invest in a good one. Not only will great hair straighteners (like Chi straighteners or Croc straighteners) save you tons of time, they will save you money in the long run. They heat up in seconds, have ultra-smooth surfaces for your hair to run over, and Croc straighteners and CHI straighteners are simply built to last (unlike cheap department store hair straighteners). Plus, they will save you from splitting your hair ends, and nerve-ends, over the long-term.

Ceramic or Titanium? Which is Hotter?
So if you didn’t know what huge difference good hair straighteners can make on the health of your hair, and your wellbeing – now you do. The only question is, which do you invest in – CHI straighteners or Croc straighteners?
The biggest difference between these two brands is the heated place across which your hair slides. CHI straighteners use ceramic plates, while Croc straighteners have a titanium plate.

What is the Difference?
CHI straighteners use ceramic plates. These are awesome because they heat up fast and evenly. They put the nix on hot spots, which are you hair’s worst hair iron enemy (hot spots are precisely what damages your hair). CHI straighteners are ready when you are, with a heat-up time only seconds long. The ceramic plates on these babies are ultra slick, so your hair won’t stick, snag or pull when you are trying to get it smooth in a pinch.
Croc straighteners have titanium plates, which are fabulous for their strength and lightweight build. Ceramic is a bit heavier, so for those ladies that have a thick head of hair and whose arms might be up in the air for a little longer, titanium will help you keep from breaking out into a sweat. Another great thing about Croc straighteners’ titanium plates is that they heat evenly, so you hair won’t get cooked on any hot spots.
Croc straighteners’ titanium plates aren’t quite as slippery as the CHI straighteners’ ceramic ones, but then again, Croc straighteners aren’t quite as expensive either. Both are great hair irons, but in the end it will be up to you to decide which is the best hair straightener for you.
