Mom Central, being the rad people they are, were kind enough to send my girls a Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! DVD to preview. The kids were so excited when they seen the box!
My daughters (ages 2 & 4) were eager to get to watching this DVD right away! The DVD features 6 episodes of the show. Each episode is focusing on the values of friendship. Together they discover the importance of positive values, especially the meaning of friendship.
When I ask Lauren (age 4) about the DVD she gets super excited and begins telling me about a picnic. She is very excited and trying to tell me all about the picnic in very fine detail. That’s a great thing. I love it when the kids find something enjoyable to watch that actually is helping them to learn good values. On a silly note…when Emma (age 2) is asked about the DVD she starts jumping in place telling me how he bounces on his tail and she starts laughing hysterically. I purposely waited a week after viewing to ask the girls questions about the DVD to see if any of it stuck with them. Sure enough it did. All in all I would rate this DVD a hit with both girls and me.
