Wordless Wednesday, Carnival

05.25.2011 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

The night before we went camping we decided to hit up the local carnival.  The girls are all at ages to enjoy this now and enjoy it they did!

I thought Emma would be a bit scared, she isn’t as adventurous as Lauren or Morgan.  I was wrong.  I think Emma Loved the carnival the most!  She would have stayed all night riding those rides if she could have had her way!

I was a bit said that the Tilt a Whirl was missing from the carnival this year.  That is my favorite ride!  The Ferris Wheel seemed smaller than it had been in the past as well.

Oh well, it was all still great to the girls.  Lauren was doing awesome until we took her on the ship, the kid turned straight up green!  Poor girl, she didn’t throw up, but she was totally done riding rides after that.

One thing I noticed while there was the lack of parents.  People really let their kids go run around the carnival all alone?  I guess I’m the mean mom.  Are you a mean mom too?  I’m sorry but there is no way I would not be nearby at all times.  We do allow Morgan to walk and ride with her friends, but I’m still there.

The behavior of the kids at the carnival was horrible too.  Jeremy even got hit in the head by a shoe thrown from the top of the Ferris Wheel!  Jeremy was standing with our little ones when the shoe came down on him.  Can you believe that?  If that would have hit one of my girls it could have seriously hurt them!

Anyhow…we still had a great time!

I Think it’s Time to Upgrade the Backyard!

We’ve been living in this house for awhile.  It’s a rental and I just didn’t plan on being here that long.  I really want us to have a home we own.  We are working towards it and have even thought about buying this house. We have a really good sized back yard and with a […]
