Yay! Wordless Wednesday! Sometimes I do not think people realize that the job is not over after the shoot. There are other things to be done. Here is a shot from a recent pet shoot that I wanted to share to show you, it’s not an easy job. Photography is work, but it is a work that I absolutely LOVE! It is much more than how expensive your camera is. Buying a camera with all the bells, whistles and accessories does not make you an over night photographer. Honestly I shoot with a low end Nikon that is Duct taped. I need a new camera badly and am trying to save up for it.
The Dog on the left (who is only a pup!) is green! She was dyed (non-chemical, so don’t get all crazy on us!) green for a holiday event. We had put off the shoot waiting for it to fade as much as it could. I also made sure that she was in the sun the most and adjusted my settings accordingly before shooting so that she would not appear as green in the shot as she was in person. Then the rest is done in photoshop… It’s safer to photograph pets while leashed. But leashes are not all that pretty in the shots. Check it out! Would love to hear your thoughts.

Wow that is amazing!! I’m working on both skills! Photography and editing! It’s obvious how talented you are! Great job!
Thank you! I love photography as well as editing 🙂
wonderful edit!
Thank you 🙂
I’m so impressed by how you made the leashes disappear! Magic!
I like the coloring a bit more in the first one, just seems more natural, less goldeny. But the second one is beautiful too!
I edit a particular way that is more fairy tale like, on of the reasons people hire me is for that style. Depending on the photo of course determines how I edit the image.. In the first one the dog is green. Thanks for stopping by.
What a genius idea to shoot them with the leashes on and then edit it out! Great demonstration too!
Thanks for linking up with my comment love! You can link up again 🙂
