From now on I will not be making winners posts. I always email the winners anyhow. So as of RIGHT NOW, I will be emailing you directly from your comment. You still have 48 hours to contact me. Winners must be in the US unless the contest specifically states that it is open to people outside of the US. Thanks!

Hi..Sorry, but I think you should announce winners, for some reason or another some may not get your emails and you can give us a chance to contact you on twitter or give us another way to contact you if you don’t receive our email replies.. You say to leave our email in the comment, are you talking about the comment exactly or the email we put in when submitting our comment? It’s a bit confusing and I for one don’t like leaving my email directly in a comment.. I appreciate your contests, but how do we even know if anyone did win if you don’t announce them? Thank you..have a great day!
The email you post when you submit in the form is only viewable by me. I would never ask that you directly post your email out in the open part of the comment. I do still announce winners. I just do not post an individual post about it. It is much too time consuming to do that. It is much easier and practical for me to go to the original contest post and post what the winning comments were in that post. I then go through the comments to send the winner notice, just like this comment. It then posts the comment on my site as well as emails the winner and notifies them. This is just a better use of time for me(I’m a busy girl! lol). I hope this clears up your concerns. By the way, there is ALWAYS a winner, and I always send a follow up notice if I do not hear from the winner. If they don’t contact me back after a second notice, I then choose a new winner. I can not continuously chase after winners though. I think 2 notices from me, plus the post in the original contest info is sufficient. Thanks for your comment!
I’ve started doing this as well- posting the winner in red at the top of the contest post. I also change the title by adding CLOSED so people can easily see it’s closed.
