Water Tanks, Preparation for What May (Will) Come

04.19.2012 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

I find myself thinking more and more about the future and what will eventually happen.  We see shows like Jericho and think “WOW, What if?”  Really we should be thinking “When?” or “Are we ready?“…

If something happened tomorrow I can guarantee that very few of us would be prepared.  That is very scary!

Last summer I taught myself how to can foods because I have a desire to have a great amount of food stored just in case.  Well what about water?  Where can you store water?  The answer to that is: All Types of Storage Tanks!

There is a very large variety of the types of storage tanks you can get for storing water.  Water being one of the biggest things we would ever need if there was some sort of disaster.  Clean, safely stored water!  You need well built, long lasting tanks. Water storage for rainwater harvesting, septic systems, transportation of potable water and drinking water!

I know that I want to be prepared just in case.  I know it may never happen in my life time, but it is better to be safe rather than sorry when the time comes.

So what about you?  What sort of steps have you taken to be sure that you can provide for your family in case of an emergency?  Do you have food and water stored and ready just in case?
