WOW! I don’t even know where to begin! This is probably the best movie I seen this year so far. Everything about it was just brilliant! From the acting, the filming, the story…all of it!
When we first started watching it I really did not think the little ones would keep watching since it is set in World War I. Thing is, they did. They have watched several times since then as well. It was so exciting and non stop that it reeled them right in.
It is the story of a boy and his horse…they have an amazing connection and go through so much! I don’t want to tell too much, but I can really say that I think anyone would love this movie.
The extraordinary journey of courage and friendship as seen through the eyes of one unforgettable horse named Joey and his miraculous journey to find his way back home, “War Horse” is a must own contemporary classic for everyone’s home entertainment collection. Spielberg’s renowned creative passion and artistry not only shine throughout the film but are also evident in all the fascinating bonus features included exclusively on the Blu-ray disc.
This was truly one of those movies that I could not take my eyes off the screen. There were times that I was a wee bit teary eyed too. If you haven’t seen it, you really must!
