Voots® Veggie-Fruit Tarts #Giveaway

01.17.2013 by Girl on Fire // 15 Comments

I know some of you have a problem with your kids and vegetables.  Thankfully my kids love vegetables and I have never really had any issues in getting them to try new things.  But for those of you that can not get your kid to eat a green bean or carrot…what do you do?  This is what Voots® Veggie-Fruit Tarts are for!

Voots are a product that comes from the makers of Nature Made ® and SOYJOY ®, brands that I am sure you have heard of and most likely have tried.

What are these strange things called Voots?

They are a supplement made from 11 real fruits and vegetables.  They are dehydrated, then crushed, then blended with Vitamin C and other ingredients, and made into delicious chewable berry-flavored tarts that kids love. It also has the Vitamin C antioxidant power of three full servings of fruits and veggies!

Voots Veggie-Fruit Tarts are available at select retailers nationwide.  You can also buy Voots Veggie Fruit Tarts on Amazon!

My little girls (Lauren and Emma) loved these and ate a pack daily until there were no more.  I tried them and eh….not my thing.  But they are not meant for me now are they?  But honestly the kids liked them a lot and asked for them every day.  They were a little too tart for me, but kids like that sort of thing.  Tart hurts my face…seriously!

When Drew was younger he hated his veggies (and still does); I made all his baby food…so I kept making purees as he got older but who sneak them in his food. I’d put carrot puree in his spaghetti, add sweet potato puree to his quesadillas, etc. He’d never really notice!

Sometimes I add chopped carrots or sweet potatoes into sauces like spaghetti sauce or alfredo. It gives the extra veggie punch, without changing the flavor!

I put pureed carrot or sweet potatoes in a lot of things. I add it to mac and cheese, spaghetti sauce, chili, and more. I also use veggie baby food and make these cheese biscuits that my kids love.
