I know some of you have a problem with your kids and vegetables. Thankfully my kids love vegetables and I have never really had any issues in getting them to try new things. But for those of you that can not get your kid to eat a green bean or carrot…what do you do? This is what Voots® Veggie-Fruit Tarts are for!
Voots are a product that comes from the makers of Nature Made ® and SOYJOY ®, brands that I am sure you have heard of and most likely have tried.
What are these strange things called Voots?
They are a supplement made from 11 real fruits and vegetables. They are dehydrated, then crushed, then blended with Vitamin C and other ingredients, and made into delicious chewable berry-flavored tarts that kids love. It also has the Vitamin C antioxidant power of three full servings of fruits and veggies!
Voots Veggie-Fruit Tarts are available at select retailers nationwide. You can also buy Voots Veggie Fruit Tarts on Amazon!
My little girls (Lauren and Emma) loved these and ate a pack daily until there were no more. I tried them and eh….not my thing. But they are not meant for me now are they? But honestly the kids liked them a lot and asked for them every day. They were a little too tart for me, but kids like that sort of thing. Tart hurts my face…seriously!

i ninja the tomatoes to put in chili
When Drew was younger he hated his veggies (and still does); I made all his baby food…so I kept making purees as he got older but who sneak them in his food. I’d put carrot puree in his spaghetti, add sweet potato puree to his quesadillas, etc. He’d never really notice!
Sometimes I add chopped carrots or sweet potatoes into sauces like spaghetti sauce or alfredo. It gives the extra veggie punch, without changing the flavor!

I have found that putting cheese on veggies helps my kids to eat them.
I promise a treat afterwards if they eat a new veggie!
I always cook and mash veggies to sneak in mac and cheese
I put pureed carrot or sweet potatoes in a lot of things. I add it to mac and cheese, spaghetti sauce, chili, and more. I also use veggie baby food and make these cheese biscuits that my kids love.
Pretty clever ideas I must say! I myself am extremely lucky both my kids like veggies…no joke.
I mash cauliflower and put it in brownies, the kids never know!
I blend kale and other veggies into smoothies..bananas have a strong flavor so it masks the veggies “taste”
I puree veggies and put them in soups
I sneak veggies in by making homemade soup, stirfry and carrot cake all of which my children love.
