VeggieTales Penniless Princess DVD!

I am always confident about letting my girls watch VeggieTales that they will be watching a great wholesome show with great biblical lessons.

The Penniless Princess DVD is no exception!  Just like all the other great VeggiTales movies, you can feel good about letting your child watch it.

VeggieTales: The Penniless Princess—God’s Little Girl is the heart-warming story based on the children’s book A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The story, featuring plenty of engaging and fun music fit for families, including the all-new Silly Song “Best Friends Forever” and the featured song “No Matter What,” helps to teach an important lesson about knowing your own true worth and trusting God, no matter what happens in life.

I decided to ask the girls about the movie and this is what they had to say…

Sarah was a little girl who had everything,until her dad died.  She lost everything.  Sarah ended up in an orphanage.  She was really sad and had to learn that she was still God’s little princess.  She was so nice to everyone.  Sarah met a kid that was starving and gave him her food.

My girls love the movie and watch it about once a week!  I love the message and I think you will as well!

I was also sent a copy of VeggiTales 365 Day Starter Devos for Little Girls.  This book makes a great starting point for our days.  It Includes 365 daily thoughts, a prayer, and a verse for kids to start our day out right!  The girls look forward to this part of their morning everyday before school.

They sent a second copy of the DVD to run a giveaway with if I wanted, but I am going to donate this extra copy to our small local Library so that other children can enjoy this DVD as well.
