It seems like we are on the go a lot. I thought that having the Suburban broken down would have changed that, but no. We are still go go go with a lot of things to busy ourselves here at the house as well as out of the house. Sometimes we get back late or are so wrapped up in a project and cooking a full meal just isn’t going to happen. I like to have things on hand for those kind of days to avoid the need for fast food.
Morgan and I headed to Walmart the other day to pick up the new Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches to try out #TysonGoodness #CBias. While we were there we also checked out a ton of Christmas ideas! Oh and we purchased the fillers for our Advent Calendar. You can check out our shopping trip on my Google+ to see all the goodies we found! Feel free to add me to your circles while you are there. Proper circles for me are Blogger, Homeschool, Photographer and most importantly…your circle of Awesomeness. ::big grin::
Ok, so back on task…
I don’t make a habit out of serving frozen foods. We do use frozen veggies, fruits and the occasional frozen pizza. I have never had the best of luck with frozen sandwiches. My family usually hates them. In fact, at first when they seen what we were having they were a little put off. They thought they would not like it, they thought it would have that weird frozen meat taste. Boy did they think wrong…
They all…even the husband…love the Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches! I am so glad that I bought 2 boxes!
First of all I have to say these were super easy to prepare. Morgan decided she wanted to make them. You simply put them in the microwave and a few minutes later you have yummy chicken sandwiches! We served ours with some steam in the bag Roasted Potatoes with Green Beans to round out the meal.
Look how great they look…check out those buns…
The girls put ranch on their sandwiches. Jeremy ate his with nothing on it at all! They loved them and this will be seen in our freezers from now on for those busy nights where I just can’t get it all done. We have also been using them as a quick snack as well. Great for heating and taking with you when you are on the go!
As you can tell, Morgan wasn’t in the mood to have her photo taken…
Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches are sold at Walmart, but they haven’t quite made it into all the Walmart locations yet. You can check and see if your Walmart has them by visiting Tysongoodness.com.
Also, right now they have a fantastic deal! You can receive a five dollar ($5.00) Walmart gift card when you purchase any two(2)packages of Tyson® Mini Chicken Sadwiches(8 COUNT)between 10/31/11 – 1/13/12 while supplies last.

That’s actually look tasty! I bet my 4 year old son (and the 11 month old!) would love them, too!
