Totally Texty Rocks!

06.22.2009 by Girl on Fire //

totally-texty-jacoby-black-double-silhouetteTotally Texty, wow!  Morgan (age 11) was able to give this shampoo and conditioner a try.

First off, right away she was in love because it is made for her!  It’s not for babies and it is not for adults, it is for her age and that was very important.  I don’t think I have seen a product like this before.  Things like that make kids feel special.

First thing I did when it came was to open each bottle and smell it.  Yes, I am that weirdo you see in the different departments of the store smelling things.  Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent, Fabric softener….you name it…and I’m smelling it.  This stuff smells great!

luckyladiesBased in Edwardsville, Illinois, Totally TextyTM is privately owned and operated by Sarah Mullican and Janynne Stahl. These two, stay at home moms, are the latest entrepreneurs to break into the world of hair care.

“We were tired of buying shampoo for our teens and tweens that did not address the needs of their scalps.”

Made specially for the scalp needs of teens and tweens, Totally Texty is Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Parabens, DEA, and TEA free. It will help the hair stay fresh longer, without adding harsh chemicals to the hair. We have achieved this by adding a new deodorizer to the formulation.

We have created two unique formulas. “We are trying to incorporate text messaging fun with the best of hair care.” Totally TextyTM products comes in a distinctively packaged bottle with a fun text message title ddg(drop dead gorgeous) and ytmn(you’re the man now). Each formulation has an age appropriate scent that appeals to teens and tweens (No bubble gum flavor here!)

The website is RAD! They even have a page so that moms like us can figure out what the heck these kids are saying! Oh and games too!

00075girlcombo2pngMorgan kind of has a sensitive head.  Most shampoos get her scalp all dry and itchy.  Sometimes she complains that it burns. She has been using this product consistently since it arrived without complaint! Seriously..we’re loving it!  I hate hearing the kids complain and this just solved one of the complaints!  Thank you Totally Texty, you gave me a little of my sanity back!

One of you lucky readers can win your own Totally Texty product to try.  You will have your choice of the girls or the boys!
