Time for a Gift

09.29.2011 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

It seems like a lot of things I love are slowly being pushed out by new technology. Cell phones have really pushed out a lot of things. You can do anything on these smart phones…but there are some things you really should still keep around!

I think having a watch is a necessity, but with cell phones being so popular a lot of people have quit wearing them.  Ok, maybe I am a worry wart, but what if something happens.  What if we all lose power and no one has a watch.  Would time keeping be lost forever?  Would we have to start over?

Seriously think about it!  Who would keep track of time.  No one wants to lose time.  When one day turned into the next.  Then there goes the calendars.  What day is it?  Is it someone birthday?  Who knows, because no one had a watch to continue the keeping of time.

Where will our future go? We need time, I will still keep my watch thank you very much.  I’ll also be checking out ladies watches for some of my favorite girls.  I bet a lot of kids these days don’t even have a clue on how to read the time if it isn’t digital.

Have you asked your kid what time it was recently?  Can they read a traditional clock or do they depend on digital?
