Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set

12.01.2010 by Girl on Fire // 4 Comments

I know you are still on the hunt for the perfect Christmas presents!  I wanted to tell you about the Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set.  I know I have girls, but you know what…they still love all the Thomas Toys!

We received a Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway – Early Engineers Round About Station to review awhile back when I was still recovering from surgery.  This review is long over due, but here’s the cool thing about waiting.  Even know it is not new to my girls anymore, they still chose it when playing!  I get products for review all the time and while initial excitement makes it a favorite, it will soon be forgotten and passes on to another child.

They Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set has continued to be a toy that the girls play with.  My girls have awesome imaginations and the small train set fits right into many story lines they concoct!

It’s targeted at ages 18 mo and up, but my girls are 4 and 6 and love it!  What is so cool about this is that it is also compatible with the rest of the Thomas Wooden Railway!  So as your little one grows you can add this on to the bigger sets!  Talk about thinking ahead so we don’t have to!  Thomas the Train and his friends have been around a very long time and are sure to be a hit with kids for years to come.

Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set

Easy to set-up and easy to play, Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station is a great starter set for eager engineers! With simple features and larger engines, the Roundabout Station Set lets little engineers pick up and deliver passengers in a fun-filled playset. The set includes a Thomas Engine, two destinations, track and molded track layout with wooden tracktiles and two accessories. Early Engineers Sets are 100 percent compatible with the rest of the Thomas Wooden Railway. Ages: 18M and up. SRP: $24.99

Buy it online or visit Learning Curve to find a retailer near you.

I was sent a Thomas Wooden Railway Early Engineers Roundabout Station Set to facilitate this review.  No compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

Pretty cool train station. Wish I had a boy to snag one of those for.

WE have one of these, and my boys love it too! Now that we’re in the new house, we have room to add on to it! We have a trunk that all of their train stuff goes into, and it’s normally empty because they’re playing with it! 🙂

Thanks for the review Brandy! It’s good to see girls playing with things that are stereotypical for boys! 🙂 Just goes to show that trains are a genderless excitement! Heck, I even like playing with them!

My nephew would have loved this when he was younger, but he has informed me he is now too old for such things. *eyes rolling*
