RSD My Way, Massage Therapy

10.25.2012 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

Massage has been one of my biggest helps with RSD. It is hard for me to even explain what it does for me. You would think that it would be painful, but when you have someone like Carrie Zala working on you, it is heavenly.  Well I still have pain, but I have realized that embracing the pain is the only way to live with a chronic pain disease like RSD.

Carrie took the time to understand my disease and needs. She seems to know just what to do and can listen to my body in ways that no one else can. She has been more helpful than any doctors or medications.

In fact, if you didn’t know…I am currently off of all my neuro meds. I was never on pain management either.

Even talking to Carrie helps me. She keeps me relaxed, all the stress is gone when I am being worked on by her. I probably sound like I am exaggerating, but I swear it is the truth.

I believe that her caring personality factors in with her skill. If you are in the Denton area, you must pay her a visit and see for yourself.

Please like Therapeutic Massage by Carrie Zala on Facebook. She is very knowledgeable and even if you are not in the area, her posts are great reads.

I am of the mindset if something works for you, no matter how unconventional then by all means continue it. (although massage is nowhere close to unconventional!)

If it improves your quality of life, then it is a good thing. So glad to hear something is helping and for even a bit you feel better!
