When they told me they were bringing me a Chevy Equinox, I have to honestly admit I had no idea what they were talking about. I love Chevy, but didn’t know too much about the new cars. I drive a Chevy Suburban. Chevy rocks!
It had been so long since I had been in a new car that I really was a tad bit overwhelmed and speechless. It was like I had traveled to the future! I was so behind the times on car gadgetry, that most of the things I seen in the car I thought were things of the future. I seriously had no idea! Maybe I’m just car ignorant, I accept that.
The dashboard was something that seriously had me over joyed. I could do anything from this car. I felt powerful…ok, maybe I am being a bit over the top. But seriously, I loved the car.
I figured it would be best just to show you some of the photos I took. I think they are all pretty self explanatory! This dash rocks my socks! So much info here!
The Equinox is one of the many great vehicles Chevy has to offer, such as their new Chevy Cruze, which gets up to 42 miles per gallon

I like the fact that it has an in dash GPS system! I currently have a portable GPS but the tiny screen doesn’t compare to the one permanently in the vehicle
I like about that it have a standard 7-inch touch screen radio with a USB port on all trims but the base model and standard Bluetooth with steering wheel controls on all trims.

and station selection!

I really like the on dashboard GPS navigation. It would be so much easier to have it in the dash like that than trying to deal with a cell phone (whose battery discharges really fast when navigating) or a discreet GPS device while still trying to drive. I also love the audio controls on the steering wheel.
