Teenagers and Dresses

09.03.2013 by Girl on Fire // 2 Comments

My oldest daughter is 15, she will be 16 in April.  I am thinking she will want to go to some dances this year, or maybe the next.  Homecoming with friends?  Homeschool prom?  Sweet 16 photos?  So, we are searching for dresses.  I came across some cheap homecoming dresses.  Beautiful classic dresses without that gaudiness I have been seeing lately.  dress

Isn’t it beautiful?  It comes in many colors.  It is pictured here in Navy blue.  I love that classic look!

Knowing my funky daughter, she would probably prefer this cute bright little number!dress2

Those bright colors would look great with her dark hair and pretty blue eyes!

There are so many choices and I know she would look beautiful in any of them!  How do you choose just one?  So many different looks!  So many different colors!  Can we get her one of each?

These dresses would also make great bridesmaid dresses!  Or even a different kind of wedding dress.   You don’t have to spend a fortune to own a beautiful dress for a special occasion!  Shoot, Red Carpet anyone??  Maybe next time I walk the Red Carpet I could pick up one of these sweet little numbers?  Wonder if I could pull it off with my tattoos?  A beer drinking leprechaun and a tulle dress?  Sure, why not? Someday…

Maybe Morgan should start a wish list and narrow down the choices.  I bet her friends would go nuts over the selections available.

I think some of my photo clients should check it out as well!  Especially those beautiful Ballerina’s I have been photographing lately!  Some of these dresses would be just perfect for a downtown photoshoot!   Or how about a contrast of a fancy dress and an abandoned house?  I have ideas ladies!  Let’s do this!!

What dress do you like from this shop?

Bryn is obsessed with formal dresses! One of her fav things to do is try on and shop through sales of those types of dresses!

Wordless Wednesday

This bathroom door said I was beautiful.  All my make up was gone and everything!  There should be bathroom doors of this kind everywhere.  If I recall, there was no mirror in the bathroom, so the bathroom door was very reassuring that I was looking good that night.  All though, like I said…my makeup was […]
