So I have been feeling like crap lately, like completely exhausted and never feeling rested! I have decided that I am sick of it and I’m ready to take the steps to start finally feeling better!
My life is pretty hectic and I know I haven’t been properly taking care of myself lately. I have been getting consistent headaches, always tired, my stomach always hurts and it is getting so frustrating!
I couldn’t figure out why I am feeling this way until I stepped back and really looked at how I am caring for myself. There is no way the headaches are related to only drinking coffee and energy drinks right?! I seriously had myself convinced that was normal and sometimes only drank a single glass of water each day! That’s crazy!
I work a full-time job, I’m going to college, I work side jobs and I am a single mom of a toddler. Those things all require so much energy! Energy that I haven’t had in such a long time and that I am trying to get back.
I am working on cutting my energy drink and coffee consumption way down, but it’s so dang hard! How am I supposed to get energy!? Hmmmm… Maybe if I stopped eating garbage food and actually took vitamins and supplements from somewhere like Nature Happiness like I’m supposed to? Ding, Ding, Ding!

I just started making these changes recently and they are slowly starting to help I think. I have been making myself drink a bottle of water every morning before coffee and then after that coffee only drinking water the rest of the day.
I still have my sugar-free monster a few times a week, but at least I’m not drinking two a day anymore! To help cut the energy drinks out I have started taking an energy vitamin that really seems to help me!
I decided to try out the Health By Habit energy supplement and it’s awesome! It is less than nine dollars and definitely gives me a little boost!
I also found Dr. Ryan Shelton Zenith Labs and all of their amazing supplements! They have a huge variety of supplements and vitamins for all different needs! They even post little health tips and advice to help you reach your health goals.
I am still working on the healthy eating part of things, but I am not giving up! I am a stress eater and tend to eat junk when I am stressed out. Being busy constantly stresses me out and I have been falling into old eating habits lately.
I am trying to make more of an effort to pack healthier lunches for work and meal prep for dinners so I have no excuse to not eat healthily. Toddlers are picky though! It is so hard to find healthy meals he will eat and there is no way I am making two separate meals for just the two of us!
I’ve been doing some research on meals we can both eat and I found this list with lots of ideas we are going to be trying! If you have any healthy toddler-friendly meal ideas I’d love to hear them! Because this boy is PICKY! Like I am pretty sure some days all he eats is goldfish, but at least he is eating right?
