Swine Flu Deception

09.03.2009 by Girl on Fire // 17 Comments

I would love to hear your thoughts on the below video. I personally have refused most vaccines for my children. I happen to have some of the healthiest kids you will ever meet.

Edited to add: There are vaccines that my children DO get.  But there are others that I skip, these are also the vaccines that I myself did not receive since they were not even developed.

The problems in health care today is over medicating.  We have immune systems…let them work and do their jobs!  Don’t destroy them with over medicating!

So please, this is not to be a bash fest, but a civil discussion.

I seen this already and I agree I think they have made this more then it really is. I will not give my kids this vaccine Heck I don’t even get the vaccine for the Reg. Flu.

We do get the regular flu shot because I’m in the high risk group from flu complications and I’ve had them being asthmatic. BUT I will NOT expose my family to a vaccine that has not even been FDA approved yet. Oh, and for the general public’s information, you’ll see me on a soapbox the next few weeks because after saying no mandatory vaccines, the H1N1 vaccine has now been mandated for military personnel. They will NOT experiment on my husband and his comrades. I don’t see how they can mandate a vaccine that hasn’t been approved yet.

The whole H1N1 has totally been blown out of proportion and I feel as if the media, government and drug companies are playing on the public’s fears and that is so wrong.

That really disgusts me Amanda! I hope something changes between now and when the vaccine is actually available so its not mandatory for them.

I agree that everything has been blown out of proportion and the drug companies are loving it.

I will never get a flu shot again. I know the flu can be dangerous, but I’ll take my chances at getting the flu rather than the shot that I KNOW, from experience, is detrimental to my health.

I do not feel that the shot should be mandatory for ANYONE.

In addition, getting the shot is no guaranty that you will not come down with the flu.

As far as vaccines in general, I have seen good and bad. Polio was still prevalent when I was little, now, you never hear of it.

We don’t fully vax our kids, and I am NOT going to get them vaxed with something that isn’t tested fully. My husband had to get the Anthrax Vax and it did some really messed up things to him right after he got it, as well as his shipmates.

We dont vax our kids fully (selectively vax) and we have never gotten a flu shot, and we will not be getting this either. However, I’m gonna be fighting my little ass off so that my husband doesnt have to get it, because he’s military, and they’re mandating him and others get it, despite it not even being approved.

Both of my kids are a little behind on vaccines, both are very healthy and I am incredibly hesitant every time we visit the pediatrician. They push vaccines like candy anymore, and the last batch my kids got both ran a 104 fever for days, and became totally different children. I called and they tried to say they might have gotten a virus.
Do we really know for sure what’s in this stuff? Why do you think they make you sign and initial before giving them anything? To protect themselves, isn’t that a strong message right there? I will get my kids the vaccines required before they start school but it scares me everytime they do.

Ok, I have mixed feelings on this one. I get my daughter vaccinated with all the required shots, BUT I have a problem with the H1N1 vacc. It has not been fully tested and during the last outbreak, more people died from complications of the vaccine than the actual virus.

My biggest concern right now is that my daughter is starting preschool in a little over a week. I have already been told there will be vaccination clinics in class. My daughter has had all the ones she needs already, but I KNOW for sure, because this is a public federally funded school, that the H1N1 will be pushed on me and my daughter. I will not allow it. But they CAN kick her out of class because of it.

The area that I live in is predominantly Hispanic and 98% of them travel regularly to and from Mexico. I don’t want my daughter getting sick, but I refuse to have her exposed to something purported to keep her healthy that is actually potentially fatal, either.

Unfortunately, when you sign your name on the dotted line, you become Government Issue and they own you lock, stock and barrel. That is not to say I agree with experimenting on soldiers, but your civil rights kind of go out the window with the bathwater when you become one.

One thing about the video, didn’t they STOP using vaccs with thimerisol or mercury in them a couple years back?

And how do you have your kids in school without vaccs? They put my daughter on a “Do not ENter” because there was stuff missing from the records. (She had them, the Doc just forgot to put it in the records)

As a nurse, I’m exposed to lots of stuff, so I will get the regular flu shot. I will not get the H1N1 vaccine. As for vaccines in general, failing to get your children vaccinated is a public health risk. What you feel is a decision that is a parent’s right to make for your child affects others that your children come in contact with everyday. I’m talking about standard, required vaccines here, so don’t jump on me. The risks involved with standard vaccines are nothing compared to what can happen if you don’t get your children vaccinated. Sure, YOUR child maybe hearty and strong, but what about others? They maybe hearty and strong NOW, but what if they do get an illness. The main reason why your children aren’t getting these conditions is because other parents have vaccinated their children, which in turn, has protected yours. It’s your responsibility as a member of society to take precautions and get your child vaccinated.

My friend took her son to a well check visit yesterday and everyone in the “sick” waiting room were wearing masks.

The doctor TOLD her NOT to get the Swine Flu vaccine for her and her family because they have no idea what it would do to them..So if a doctor is recommending no one get it, how dare they use our military personnel as guinea pigs!!!

Got the swine flu vaccine in 1976 and was sick as a dog for about 1 week. Have never ever been that sick in my life. Will NOT get this vaccine and would rather take my chances.

My Kids have all of the required shots for school, but I have not heard good things about the Swine Flu vaccine or the one for girls Gardasil so they will not be getting these as they are not proven effective in my opinion.

I agree with others about our immune systems building up tolerances and not functioning as they know how to do if we rely on medicine to prevent everything.

This is why Scott and I live a natural life. No medications that we don’t need to literally live and no vaccinations (aside from ones that were forced upon us at one point in our life). When we have kids, I plan on being VERY picky about what is given to them. There is not way I am handing my kid over and allowing them to get anything put into their bodies that I am not 100% certain of what it is for, what is in it, and why it is something they HAVE to have. I know that some things have saved us. The MMR for one. However, it doesn’t change the fact that we exchange certain things for some lesser, but still harmful, things in its place. The components most vaccines are bad for us and have caused, in my opinion, the autism outbreak. The medical field is the most greedy. They want us to be scared so we will spend money. Scott just went to get his teeth cleaned and the dentist TOLD him he NEEDED to have his teeth filed, so they LOOKED better. She was pushy about it. If they can make us think we need something that will make them money, they will. Just like the HPV vaccine. Girls are dying from it. DYING! Why in the world did they put a vaccine out when it hadn’t been tested for very long? I know preventing cervical cancer is very important, but that vaccine is killing young girls and leaving many with horrible side effects. UGH! I could go on and on about this subject. I will stop here.
