Today We Start the Super Shred Diet!

07.13.2014 by Girl on Fire // 4 Comments

If you have dieted and lost weight I am sure you have hit your plateaus, you know where that scale just wouldn’t budge on those last pounds.  Or maybe you have tried to lose weight, only to get overwhelmed at the task because you didn’t see results right away.  The Super Shred: The Big Results Diet: 4 Weeks 20 Pounds Lose It Faster! book says that you can lose 20 lbs in 4 weeks.  So, Morgan and I decided to try it out.  Today is day one.

For the next 4 weeks I will strictly follow the Super Shred eating and exercise plan.  I’ve already read through the book and the plan isn’t a lot of work.  I love that it is all laid out for us and has plenty of ideas on what to eat.  There are even several pages just based on snack ideas.

Each week is different and it will get harder…but it’s only 4 weeks.  I will take it one day at a time and I will complete this.  Heck, I’m putting it out here for all of you to know that I am doing it.  I don’t like to look like a failure, so mama is gonna try to rock this as hard as she can.

One of the biggest challenges for me is eating ALL of the food that you are supposed to eat.  I have to admit, I drink a lot of calories and eat very little.  I don’t eat badly, but I do not eat enough.  Another challenge will be not being able to have as much coffee as I am used to…oh and sweet tea.  Hmph.

I also fear the exercise program.  Not because it is hard, only because I fear I will have a bad time with my RSD some of the days and not be able to complete all of it.  When I have bad days, walking is a huge challenge for me.

So I hope you will follow along as we take on the Super Shred!

7 Reasons to Fall in Love With Thrift and Charity Shopping
