As summer approaches I am looking for summer volunteer programs for Morgan. I’ve noticed that there is a riding therapy place nearby that asks for volunteers. I am sure they would let Morgan volunteer as long as I am there with her since she is underage. She would love to be able to help take care of the horses.
Searching for teen summer program locations can be a bit difficult. Trying to figure out what to search and trying every keyword possibility can be time consuming. I’m sure if she was older it would be easier to find volunteer opportunities. I did find some things by clicking the links I have here in this post.
Volunteering helps build leadership skills and humility in teens. It’s important to build a love of helping others in our children.
Do you have a place that your children volunteer at?

I don’t have a teen yet, but I will in a few years. We won’t be putting them in any summer programs as they’ll be needed on the farm too much. I agree with you though, volunteering is so important!!! And, I admire you for instilling that in your daughter.
The portrait of her is gorgeous!!!
p.s. How are YOU?

Farm work is definitely something that she would love to volunteer to do! You need her?? Hahaha! We have volunteered at food banks and doing community cleanups before. I want something steady for her. She loves to help other people.
Thanks for the photo comment. That was one of the few times she LET me take a photo without running away.
As for me….I went to the ER yesterday. I need to blog that today as an update. I got a referral to a neurologist, so I will be calling them today. Thanks so much for asking and stopping by. I’m adding your blog button to my links page. What a great resource it is!!!
