All Natural Skin Care at Sam’s Club

10.07.2010 by Girl on Fire // 9 Comments

When I was in Arkansas, Sam’s Club kept us busy.  They had so much to show us and very little time.  We packed a lot in only a few short days.  One of the things they were excited to show us was a new skin care line they are carrying.  It’s pretty huge because up until now, this skin care line was only available through dermatologists!  Also, it was pretty darn pricey!

So they loaded up a bunch of bloggers on a party bus and drove us for a bit until we arrived at an awesome neighborhood and pulled up in front of a beautiful house.  The house was owned by one of the executives at Sam’s Club and his wife.  It was so awesome of them to open up their home to a bunch of crazy bloggers.

This is where we were introduced to Karen Drake Sinclair, founder of Sophyto.  I know it is hard to believe, but Karen is 50 years old!  She created this all natural skin care line because she wanted something all natural and organic to use on her own skin.  She also wanted to share it with other women.

She did an awesome demo of her line for us right then and there.  She used some other bloggers for the demonstration.

I have to admit, I do not put much time into my skincare and as I get older I know that I should be.  The thing is, when I go to purchase skincare products there are so many different ones!  You have to have one for each step and it ends up being too much work.  Sophyto is very simple!  That got me interested right away.  Also the fact that it is all natural, no chemicals, no perfumes!

Karen took the demo a step farther and showed us how we could use these products with different fruits, vegetables and honey to create a spa experience for ourselves.

It was a lot of fun to be able to meet Karen and know more about why she created the line of products.  So as I said before, until recently this line was only available through a dermatologist.  Now though, you can get this complete line of products from Sam’s Club at a fraction of the normal price.

All products are offered exclusively through Sam’s Club in 150 clubs nationwide. You can also see an in-store demo of Sophyto products two times a week at participating clubs. Call your club to confirm the days and times.  You can also purchase the products on-line at samsclub.com.  Also, from now until December 31st, Sam’s Club is offering free shipping on select products.

Sophyto products are based on the advanced science of phytotherapy.  This holistic approach to skincare harnesses the healing power of botanicals and other powerful bioactive ingredients to naturally nourish and restore skin’s youthful glow.  Every Sophyto anti-aging product delivers professional results, yet is formulated with pure, natural active ingredients.

I am currently using the Phototherapy Daily Renewal Kit which sells for $29.98.  This kit contains:

  • Purifying Silken Ceanser
  • Omega Daily Moisturizer
  • Anti-Aging Antioxidant Serum

If you purchased these items individually the cost would be $125! At Sam’s Club you are saving $95 on this set of products!  That is an amazing savings!

So what do I think of it?

I’m truly impressed!  I have such dry flaky skin.  This has really improved that.  I also love how fast the whole routine is.  Seriously, it takes me no time.  I do it after I shower while my skin is still damp.  Having damp skin helps the product to stretch further.  When you first put it on it has a very earthy smell, but it fades away very fast.  This is so much better than all those perfumed lotions I have used.

My skin feels soft and looks so much better. My favorite product in this kit is the Anti-Aging Antioxidant Serum, I love the way it feels!

This is definitely something I will continue to buy and use.  I feel like I have all my bases covered with this.  No special eye make up removers or anything else is needed!  It is so gentle too!  No more junk on my face!

Sam’s Club provided me with a Sophyto product pack and compensation for my participation in this campaign.

Oh man, I love that party bus picture. I didn’t get a good one.

That experience totally was amazing and I really love these products. I’m so glad they worked well for you too. I forgot all about the fruit thing to make a spa experience. I’m going to have to see about some of those recipes because I totally forgot them!

I love that these warehouse stores are no longer just about toilet paper and applesauce! What a great product to sell.

It’s nice to know that they are affordable – so many good skin care products are out of the average family’s price range – I’ll look for it next time I’m at Sam’s!
