If you have a teen, or even a preteen, you’ve likely heard them tossing around the word “selfies” and seen your child’s lovely face popping up all over their social media accounts. Of course you don’t assume there is anything necessarily bad about this trend and find it likely that it will all blow over in a matter of months.
While frequently posting selfies on Facebook and Instagram seems all fine and dandy, the truth is, the consequences of this trend may be more deeply rooted than parents believe.
