A Scottish Cottage, Valentines Day Idea

01.04.2013 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

So Christmas is over and it’s a brand new year.  I have now been with my husband for 10 years!  10 YEARS!  Wow!  Time sure flies when your having fun I guess.  What is on my mind now?  A Scottish Cottage of course!

Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it.  I would love to do something special with Jeremy, but I know it can not happen this year.  But that doesn’t mean I can not plan for the future.  Man it would be so amazing and a perfect to spend Valentines week in a Scottish Cottage!

Wouldn’t it be fun to go somewhere over Valentines week?  Maybe a seaside resort, a cottage in the countryside or maybe even a European country?  See, my plans are big ones and they would most definitely have to happen sometime in the future.   I should add it to my goals list and make an envelope for it…a dollar here and a dollar there add up!Scottish Cottage

I think it would be fantastic to hit some of the most romantic places in the U.K..  We have always talked about traveling to Scotland (and Ireland as well).  Scottish-cottages.co.uk have a great selection of luxury cottages online.

I was reading about some of the most romantic things to do in Scotland, and I would love to take a ride through the countryside on this train…

Isn’t that beautiful? You know, I could even go by myself if Jeremy didn’t want to… just me and my camera….ahhhhhh….  Really though, I know he would love to go!

You need to check out this great promotion for couples looking to book a cottage.  First thing I noticed is that you can click some options of what kind of location you would like.  One of those options is “Pub within 1 mile” of the Scottish Cottage…I think I might need to click that!  Also, being a blogger I would totally need an internet connection some of the time.  But it would be nice to stay in a rural location for the majority of the time.  I really need to get that envelope started and get my money stash started!

Keep Track of Your Gift Cards with SWAGG!

I don’t know about you, but I have the hardest time keeping track of my gift cards.  Knowing where they are can leave me tearing the house apart.  Keeping track of the balances, forget it!  I try to wrap the last receipt around the card, but then they no longer fit in my wallet and […]
