Saving More Money

09.03.2015 by Girl on Fire // Leave a Comment

Saving more money on things you have to buy is something I think most of us try to do.  Last night I was able to hit up the last night at a local Kroger store that was closing down.  The shelves were pretty much already emptied, but I did find a few good buys at 75% off.  If I had been prepared with a stash of coupons I would have made out even better.  I think I have learned that I need to keep my coupons on me at all times.  I’ll need a bigger purse.  If I had been armed with a stash of coupons, I could have totally made out like a bandit last night!

Winter is our hardest time money wise, so I will be searching the new for ways to save more money on purchases.  Grocery Coupons are definitely one way that we save money.   I always search the internet for coupons codes before making purchases online as well.  I just need to remember to have them on me at ALL times.  Another way that we save money is with Free Product Samples. We get all sorts of free samples in the mail and they really help out.

We are also working on adding to our income stream as well and I will post updates with how that is going.  Multiple streams of income are definitely important!

Happy Valentines Day!

I got all sorts of homemade things from the kids.  Drawings, cards, wrapped up toys, folded paper…it was great!  They have been running around all day saying “Happy Valentines Day!”.  Emma actually woke up this morning expecting to hunt Easter Eggs…haha!  I guess she got confused.  It was pretty cute, she even had a basket […]
