Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Fully Charged! Ticket #Giveaway for #Dallas TX!

07.08.2012 by Girl on Fire //

It’s that time of year again folks!  Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey are headed back to Dallas!  They are also making an attempt to break a World Record, right here in Dallas!  They would really love for y’all to come on down and help them out with the largest shaving cream pie fight at AT&T Plaza at American Airlines Center!

This will take place on the evening of Tuesday, July 31st, 2012.   The Biggest Shaving Cream Pie Fight On Earth also honors and raises funds for two local clowning troupes…The Funnyatrics Clown Program at Children’s Medical Center and the Lewisville Life and Fire Safety Clowns.

The largest shaving cream pie fight is a new record category, and has a minimum requirement of 684 participants.  It is based on the old record for the largest custard pie fight, which has since been rested due to concerns about wasting food. The largest custard pie fight record was held by Drake University, and was held at the Olmsted Student Center Parking lot in Des Moines, Iowa, on April 9, 2011.  At the July 31 event, a Guinness World Record® adjudicator will be in attendance to declare whether or not the current world record has been defeated.

To participate in this pie-throwing extravaganza, participants must be at least 12-years-old and register in advance at www.RinglingPieFight.com. In addition to participating in an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, each registered participant will receive one each of a Certificate of Participation and souvenir premium item.  The last day to register online is Tuesday, July 31 at Noon.  However, people may register in-person at the event.

To participate in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Biggest Shaving Cream Pie Fight On Earth, there is no required registration fee. However, Ringling Bros. ® asks that you consider making a donation to help support the Funnyatrics Clown Program at Children’s Medical Center and Lewisville Life and Fire Safety Clowns programs. Both programs operate solely on donations by the general public and corporations. 100% of the monies donated will be divided between the two charities. You may make a donation regardless of whether or not you participate in the event or not.

In addition to the pie fight, there will be a host of fun activities for Children of All Ages including performances by the world famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley, face painting, circus games, and more. Participants may park at AudiPark, formerly known as Platinum Garage. It is located on North Houston and All-Star Way. Parking is free at AudiPark.

How fun is that?

My kids are so excited that the circus is on it’s way back to the area!

The most electrifying edition ever of Ringling Bros.® celebrates ‘performance power’ excitement. The amazing acts, which can only be seen at The Greatest Show On Earth®, include Tabayara, a dynamic animal trainer whose rare ability to communicate with animals allows him to ride rearing stallions at a fully-charged gallop and orchestrate majestic four-ton Asian elephants in a symphony of dance. When he stands inside a cage, eye to eye with 12 ferocious tigers, Tabayara sees family where others see danger.

The fearless Fernandez Brothers dial up the thrills as they perform daring feats of athleticism on the Twin Turbines of Steel, including extreme jumps and twists inside the moving wheels! Audiences will crackle with excitement as they watch Guillermo perform a 360-degree, flying-forward somersault, three stories in the air, a feat so difficult it has only been attempted by one other person in the 141-year history of Ringling Bros. Descending from the legendary dynasty of Ghengis Khan, the Mongolian strongman duo of The Titanic Tulga and Mighty Meetal, demonstrate a herculean display of human dexterity and strength as they lift large, cumbersome telephone poles, which weigh up to half a ton, and twirl them above their heads while acrobats balance atop. The Human Fuse, Brian Miser, sets the arena sky ablaze as he rockets through the air from his self-made human crossbow. Don’t blink as he flashes across the sky in less than a second, and travels 110 feet at 65 miles per hour.

The action at Fully Charged begins an hour before show time at the All Access Power Up Pre-show Party – FREE to all ticket holders. Get to know the world’s greatest performers, meet some our amazing animals in person, and work to become CircusFit all before the show starts! The All Access Power Up Pre-show Party is the only place where you can register for a chance to win a pachyderm painting created by one of Ringling Bros. artistic Asian elephants right before audiences’ eyes.

I’d like to win for my sister. Sister and her fiance have his daughter for the summer (as always) and they love filling her days with things she doesn’t get to do during the rest of the year with her mom. I think they would LOVE going to the circus!!

Would love to win them for myself and my “considered family”. My best friends who have been there lately when my own family has vanished. I know we were talking about the circus not long agao and how much fun it would be just to do that for a day! It would also help with my facing the clown fear…

I have a freshman and a senior in high school and would love to have a day of remembering and celebrating childhood before they are off and running after their own lives. I’m not quite ready for them to grow up but even as they do I want them to remain young at heart. Is there a better way than attending a circus?

Our sweet son recently (11-11-11) had his right removed due to a brain tumor that has encompassed his entire optic nerve. He has neurofibromatosis type 2 and it has just been messing our lives up! We continue to have faith in God & that this is all a part of his bigger plan. Connor had to miss the circus last year because he was in too much pain, due to his protruding eye, and we are sure hoping he can go this year. Free tickets would be a fabulous gift for our family! Our boys really want to take their Nana along so it would be me (mom), Nana & our 2 boys. What a great pick me up the circus is right before school starts back!
