Red Toolbox is a line of specially designed tools and carpentry kits for kids! Kid sized everything and these are real tools! Perfectly sized for kids.
They are sold exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide and on Lowes.com. I think this would make a great last minute gift to put under the tree from Santa! They have all sorts of sets and then kits to go with thee for different levels of skill.
My girls built a bug barn and a mini treasure chest bank. With assistance from dad they were able to build both projects in no time.
The tools are of very good quality. I do wish the kits were a little better quality. Thankfully my husband knows his way around wood and was able to pull it off with the girls. The issues were not anything major, just missing holes for screws or openings (such as the door on the bug house) being the wrong size. It was a bit too big for the door they provided.
I want to be sure that I am clear that the tool sets are amazing. I just wish the building kits were a bit better in quality. Jeremy said that the pilot holes were not the right size for the screws. This caused the wood to crack when the provided screws were used. Still, this would be a great gift from Santa.
My girls were thrilled and excited to have a project to do with Daddy. We plan on getting them some more sets to put under the tree from Mr. Claus. I’m going to be looking for birdhouses for each of them to make with their very own set of tools. The tool belt and hammer are my favorite parts of the set we received for review. My girls looked so adorable!
Look at my girls all ready to work with daddy!
We received the sets needed to complete the projects featured above to facilitate this review. No compensation was received and all opinions are 100% my own.

We love the Red Toolbox activities. I have 2 sitting on the shelf that we’ll be doing next week – a Treasure Chest and Mini Case.
