One of the worst parts of my illnesses besides pain is my lack of memory. It affects everything. From the illnesses, from medication, from getting older and living too much life. My memory sucks. Being able to record doctor’s appts can be super helpful!
So, I went on the hunt to find something to make this easier for me. Writing down notes during appointments is super difficult. For one, my arm and hand can not tolerate this all of the time. And multi-tasking? Forget it! But what if I could record it? So I found a way to easily document my medical appointments. A simple app that allows me to record and keep everything organized!
I mean, my brain is sick. It will never ever ever get better. It is damaged goods. But by utilizing tools like this and other things like my Bullet Journal, I can keep up with life and the things my brain cannot remember.

Brilliant right? This isn’t just for those of us with chronic illness, this is also great for moms and caregivers! Instead of focusing on writing things down, you can focus on asking the questions you need to be answered and it will all be recorded and stored for you! Being able to record doctor’s appts will keep you focused and on track without struggling to remember key information.
When I go to my neurologist, I am usually a bumbling mess. I have things I want to ask and answers I need, but I usually always have a mini-breakdown because I am so overwhelmed. Being chronically ill is very emotional. We spend so much time holding it together that eventually we just burst at the worst times.
The app technology will highlight the medical terms in your conversations. This means you can quickly find diagnoses, medications, or treatments. Isn’t that amazing?

The app even allows you to share it! You can share it with your other doctors, your family, etc! I think this is one of the smartest tools I have come across in a long time!

What do you think? Do you have any tools to help make your medical life a bit easier on you and everyone else?
