Take the “ick” Out of Raw Pet Food with Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers #kickstartyourkibble

11.13.2015 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

We have 4 dogs here and one thing that is obvious, dogs crave raw meat.  We have dogs ranging from 2.5lbs all they way up near 100lbs and they all want it!  We have tried to introduce a raw diet in the past, but it was difficult because it was so messy.  But that was long before I knew about Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers raw pet food!

Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers makes feeding raw SO easy!  You just add it to their existing diet.  I love it because it is NOT messy!  That was one of my biggest issues with feeding raw, the mess.  Meal Mixers help bring your pet closer to their ancestral diet!

This post is sponsored by Stella & Chewy’s, but opinions are my own. Stella & Chewy’s is not responsible for the content of this article.

My smaller dogs get 1 scoop mixed in with their regular serving of food and they share this.  My big boy Plissken gets two scoops added into his regular serving of food.

He recognizes the bag and he instantly starts drooling!  Look at him creeping!

It’s no wonder they love it!  It is packed with 95% nutrient rich meat, bones and organs!  There is even added probiotics and antioxidants as well as organic vegetables and fruits.

I’m happy to tell you that there aren’t any grains, glutens, artificial preservatives, hormones, antibiotics, artificial coloring or fillers!

So, maybe I mentioned that we didn’t like feeding raw in the past because of the mess?  Well, the reason this is not messy is because they are freeze dried!  By being freeze dried, it locks in all of the nutrition and flavors.  This makes for very happy dogs!

The light pieces are the raw pieces mixed in with our normal dog food.

They have 4 protein options available which are available in 3 sizes (3.5 oz, 9 oz, 18 oz).

No need to be worried about food safety.  Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers uses a test and hold process where a third party independent lab analyzes each batch of food.  The results of the analysis are posted on the Stella & Chewy’s Meal Mixers website.

Is feeding your dog raw foods important from a nutritional standpoint, or is this more like a treat for them?
