Rainbow Brite is Back! Review and Giveaway!

I still have all the little Rainbow Brite Sprites that I collected from Taco Bell when I was a kid!  Do you remember that?  The cute little Sprites are still here with me!  How excited was I when I heard they were bringing rainbow Brite and her friends back?  Uh, like super excited!  I mean, I am a mom of 3 girls, of course I was excited!

Thanks to Mom Select I was able to check out the Rainbow Brite CD ROM.  They sent me a Rainbow Brite CD Pak with enough of them that I could share with friends.  I shared the majority of mine with some homeschool moms I know with small children.  They were shocked to see it was Rainbow Brite….everyone was like…”you mean…she is back????!!!!!!”

It’s so much fun to share characters we loved when we were children with our own young children.  They are familiar and more wholesome than some of the things I see our children exposed to today.  I like old school!  Rainbow Brite is definitely old school!  You can check out what is new with Rainbow Brite here. n You can also find the toys and dolls at Target and coming to Toys ‘R Us!

The CD ROM is definitely a hit.  It is filled with Games, Puzzles, the theme Song, Rainbow Brite and her friends, Animated shorts and more!  You want to win one?  I have 2 left that I saved for my readers!

    Oh, I <3 Rainbow Brite, but my favorite had to be Jem! She was truly outrageous, truly truly truly outrageous! Don't think for a minute that I am not singing that at the top of my lungs! Oh man, even my mom remembers Jem because I scribbled her logo everywhere! My walls, my shelves, my headboard…yeah. All done not in crayon or marker, but a super cool nail polish pen! How my mother put up with that I'll never know…Oh wait, is that sharpie on my walls? Yes. Yes it is.

    Mine WAS the smurfs–now as an adult my favorite are the carebears!! 🙂 SO cute!

    I <3 ed though smurfs, rainbrow brite and punky brewster (not animated/cartoon, but still my show 🙂 )
