R.L. STINE’S THE HAUNTING HOUR: THE SERIES VOLUME 1 and VOLUME 2 #Review

09.20.2012 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

Halloween is on the way!  Time for some spookiness!  We were sent R.L. Stine’s, The Haunting Hour: The Series Volume 1 and 2.  It’s been a long time since I have watched something by R.L. Stine and honestly I was a bit nervous about letting Emma watch.  I wasn’t sure how scary it would be and honestly…this mama doesn’t like to share her bed anymore.

When we started watching I started remembering the R.L. Stine shows I had watched with Morgan when she was little.  I remembered how they were spooky and fun and never truly scary!

Emma and all the girls loved them!  We had a great time watching several episodes together.  We made a night of it with pillows and blankets on the floor and a lot of cuddling, we even had Molly in on it.

Out of the episodes we watched so far, the family favorite was about a doll that was created to look like a little girl that it was made for.  I do not want to give away too much, but let’s just say the little girl was not so nice and the doll used it to her advantage in taking over the girls life.  There were lessons to be learned!

I think these are really fun for adding a bit of spookiness to your family time this fall!HAUNTING HOUR

Great review I adore RL Stine! Years ago I worked in a classroom with BD kids and finding something they liked to do book reports on was always a chore. RL Stine was always the number 1 pick and I didnt mind reading them to write questions 🙂
