Outback Steakhouse, Thanks for Giving 2011

03.20.2011 by Girl on Fire // 1 Comment

Wow, I haven’t been to an Outback Steakhouse in years!  I’m not quite sure why because I love it!  They have the best Malted Mudslides and the Blue Cheese Dressing is amazing!  I used to go there all the time with my good friend Dave.  He always ordered a Bloomin’ Onion, you!

I’m sure you’ll agree that there’s nothing better then eating dessert for a good cause! Right now, at Outback Steakhouse just by ordering their delicious Strawberry Waffle Shortcake dessert, you can help support U.S. troops.

To say ‘thanks for giving’ to U.S. troops, Outback Steakhouse has created its Red, White, and Bloomin’ menu and has made the commitment to donate up to $1MM of the menu’s proceeds to Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization that provides emergency and emotional support for active troops, veterans and their families.

The Red, White and Bloomin’ menu was created especially for Thanks for Giving 2011 and along with the Strawberry Waffle Shortcake dessert, it includes new items such as a Chicken Artichoke Flatbread and a Hearts of Gold Mahi entree as well as several Outback favorites.

We went there last weekend as a belated birthday celebration for me and Ro. I had the Victoria steak and grilled lobster. It was the best I’d ever had. And I know good steak and lobster.

Damn, now I’m hungry for it again…
