Newtons Fruit Thins, we like them!

06.08.2011 by Girl on Fire // 4 Comments

Let me start out by saying I have never been a fan of the Fig Newton.  My kids liked them, but it wasn’t something I would actually buy for them.  So this is why I was interested in trying out the Newtons Fruit Thins, I wanted to see how they were different than the regular Fig Newtons.

Well let me just tell you that they are completely different. I actually kind of love these…like more than kinda, like really love them.  They are super thin and full of flavor!  They are not overly sweet either.  Some cookies are just too sweet for me to actually enjoy and these were pretty much right on.  I could actually taste real fruit.

The kind I tried was Blueberry Brown Sugar and I had to fight the kids to get some for myself.  They loved them!

They come in 4 varieties:

  • Cranberry Citrus Oat
  • Blueberry Brown Sugar
  • Chocolate Raspberry
  • Fig & Honey

Newtons Fruit Thins are made with real fruit and 8 grams of whole grain per serving , a great wholesome snack that you can feel comfortable feeding your family.

Nutritional Information

  • Serving Size – 3 cookies
  • 140 Calories
  • 5 grams total fat
  • 1-1.5 grams saturated fat

I would totally purchase these for myself and family.

I received the product from One2One Network to facilitate my review.  All opinions are 100% my own and no compensation was received.

    How did your kids react?

    did they like it?

I know that when I am not into something – It is very difficult to change my mind about it, so i guess that if it made you change yours – It must be really good…

    I shall try it then.

So you are going to buy more of these or simply tell the kids that they can’t have them?

        ;-P
